"We've had a great experience with Videowise. It's let us utilize video way more on our site than we ever have in the past. Our fear was that video would slow down our site speed, but we haven't seen any issues now that we are hosting videos on the Videowise platform. We've also found some new wins with our shoppable videos on the PDP overall the app has been great for Legends, and we will continue to test it in new ways."
Legends is a lifestyle and performance apparel brand based in Los Angeles, California, built to inspire people to leave an impactful legacy through sports, entertainment, and fashion. Their ecommerce storefront serves men's, women's, and kids' activewear, from shorts and leggings to hoodies and tees, backed by an athlete roster that includes Steve Nash, Jameis Winston, Baker Mayfield, and DeAndre Hopkins.
In performance apparel, fit and feel are the conversion trigger. Shoppers can't tell from a static photo how a short moves, how a hoodie sits on a bigger build, or how a fabric feels against skin. Video brings that fit and feel to life in a way static imagery can't, bridging the gap between browsing and buying for shoppers who already want to convert.
Despite strong organic traffic and a loyal customer base, Legends needed a way to make their homepage work harder as a conversion surface. The team had video content to deploy, but faced a common concern in ecommerce: adding video at scale without introducing page speed issues or friction that could hurt the very metrics they were trying to improve.
Legends also wanted a format that would let shoppers move from discovery to checkout faster, reducing the number of steps between a fan landing on the homepage and completing a purchase.
Legends deployed Videowise's Quick Shop video carousel on their homepage, enabling shoppers to browse products and add to cart directly from video without leaving the page. The format turned passive browsing into active discovery, giving fans a richer look at products in context while keeping the path to purchase short.
Page speed concerns that had previously slowed video adoption were resolved through Videowise's hosting infrastructure, removing a key blocker for the team.
Measured over four months and across a large sample of visitors, the results reflect a durable, real-world lift, not a short-term spike. The homepage video carousel consistently converted more visitors into buyers, with every key commercial metric moving in the right direction.
